Computer Cleaning and Refreshing
The cleaning and maintenance of any computer to keep it running at top speeds is crucial. When setting up your OS it is best to not have programs running in the background. It seems like every software package you load in your computer wants to take charge and run in the background resulting in slow processing and sometimes crashes. I do not run a virus scan or spyware program in the background as it slows your computers processing to a crawl. I run my virus scan and spyware program once a day and then turn it off in the startup. To access your startup file just type msconfig in your run command on the start menu and then press enter, goto startup option and everything that is running at startup will show in the menu. I usually click disable all and my computer runs fast. I also advise rebooting after every ten times you access the internet as the free resources tend to diminish and slows your access time. I also try to run defrag at least once a week depending on how often you add or delete programs. Hope this has been informative and helps you to a speedy enjoyable use of your computer.

This has been my experience from the old write your own programs to now even with the bigger faster machines, it still is crucial for proper computer functioning.
